Copiers & MFPs

An advisory firm that needed every page accounted for

“We're regulated. Client financial documents can't sit in a tray or scan to the wrong place. ADS locked it down with secure release and clean workflows, and made the audit conversation easy.”

Compliance Manage
, Wealth advisory firm

A Morris County wealth advisory firm handles exactly the kind of documents regulators care about: client statements, account paperwork, signed agreements, and the copier sat squarely in that compliance picture.

The problem

Open print trays and loosely configured scan destinations are a finding waiting to happen. The firm needed documents that don’t print until the right person is standing there, and scan paths that can’t wander.

What we did

We configured secure print release and authenticated access on their Sharp MFPs, locked scan-to-folder destinations to the right systems, and documented the setup so the firm could speak to it during an audit.

The result

Nothing prints unclaimed, scans land where they’re supposed to, and the compliance conversation about document handling got a lot shorter.

“You made the auditor’s question boring,” the manager said. “Boring is exactly what I want.”
